Generated and Derived Information

AriLoom is designed to maintain persistent characters and worlds. To provide this functionality, the service may generate or derive information from your activity, including:

• Character memories
• Character and world state
• Relationship state
• Conversation summaries
• Character reflections, journals, dreams, or similar generated material
• World events, incidents, rumors, and other simulated activity
• Character-to-character interactions
• Semantic representations or embeddings used for memory and retrieval
• Relationships between information stored within knowledge or memory systems

Some of this information may be generated automatically based on your interactions and may continue to change while you are not actively using AriLoom.

Usage and Technical Information

We may automatically collect information about how AriLoom is accessed and used, such as:

• Log and diagnostic information
• Pages and features used
• Approximate timestamps and activity history
• Error and performance information
• Security and abuse-prevention signals

3. AI Processing and Third-Party Providers

AriLoom uses artificial intelligence models and related technology to provide character conversations, story generation, memory processing, and other features.

To provide these features, portions of your content may be transmitted to third-party infrastructure or AI service providers for processing.

We seek to use providers appropriate for the services being performed and limit information sent to them to what is reasonably necessary for the applicable functionality.

Third-party providers process information according to their own contractual obligations and privacy practices.

AriLoom may change or add infrastructure and AI providers over time as the service evolves.

4. Persistent Characters and Automated Activity

AriLoom is designed around persistent fictional characters and simulated worlds.

Characters may maintain memories, relationships, emotional or simulated state, goals, schedules, activities, and other information. Automated systems may create events or modify character and world state while you are not actively using the service.

These processes may use information from previous interactions to maintain continuity.

Generated character behavior should not be interpreted as evidence that an AI character is conscious, sentient, or experiencing real emotions.

5. Private Conversations

We design AriLoom so that user conversations and private content are not publicly visible by default.

Content may nevertheless be processed by AriLoom's systems and service providers as necessary to operate the service, maintain safety and security, provide requested functionality, investigate abuse, or comply with law.

If AriLoom offers features that allow you to publish, share, discover, or remix content, information you intentionally make public may be visible to other users.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may disclose information to:

• Infrastructure, hosting, storage, analytics, communications, AI, and other service providers that help operate AriLoom
• Professional advisers when reasonably necessary
• Government authorities or other parties when required by law
• Parties involved in investigating fraud, security incidents, abuse, or threats to users or the service
• A successor organization in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of the business

We may also share aggregated or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify you.

7. Public and Shared Content

Some AriLoom features may allow users to publish or share characters, worlds, scenes, images, profiles, or other material. Content you intentionally designate as public may be viewed, copied, interacted with, or otherwise used by other users according to the functionality provided by AriLoom. Do not publish information you wish to keep private.

8. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide AriLoom, maintain your account and persistent worlds, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, protect the service, and enforce our agreements. Because persistence is a core AriLoom feature, some information may remain stored until you delete applicable content or your account. Certain information may remain temporarily in backups, security logs, or other systems after deletion where immediate removal is technically impractical or retention is legally required.

9. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No online system can guarantee absolute security, and use of AriLoom is therefore at your own risk.

10. Your Choices

Depending on available features and applicable law, you may be able to:

• Update account information
• Delete characters, worlds, conversations, or other content
• Adjust privacy or sharing settings
• Request access to certain information
• Request deletion of your account
• Opt out of non-essential communications

Some requests may be subject to legal, security, technical, or identity-verification requirements.

11. Adults Only

AriLoom is intended only for adults who are at least 18 years old.

We do not knowingly permit individuals under 18 to use AriLoom.

If we learn that an individual under 18 has provided personal information through the service, we may take steps to delete the information and terminate the account.

12. International Users

AriLoom may operate using infrastructure located in multiple countries. If you access AriLoom from outside the country where our systems or service providers are located, your information may be transferred to and processed in other jurisdictions.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as AriLoom evolves.

If we make material changes, we may provide notice through the service or by other reasonable means. The effective date at the top of this policy indicates when it was most recently updated.
